A 74-year-old patient at the Excelsis Dei Convalescent Home during the Worcester, Massachusetts incidents of 1994. His spirit is allegedly responsible for the attack on Nurse Charters. Hal Arden and Stan Phillips are heavily involved in the matter, for the sake of self-preservation. Both men have been given pills--natural herbs--by orderly Gung Bituen. Mr. Arden is one of the trial recipients of Dr. Grago’s experimental treatments with Depranil, a drug for treating Alzheimer’s. A detective at the 14th precinct in Buffalo, NY. He plunges to his death, through a closed window, after being left alone in a room with eight-year-old Michelle Bishop. The investigation into his death reveals that Michelle is the reincarnation of Charlie Morris, a cop murdered nine years previous. Along with his partner, Leon Felder, and Morris' partner, Tony Fiore, Barbala was involved in Morris' murder and the subsequent cover-up when Morris refused to go along with their plot to steal over $2 million in confiscated drug money. Barbala is described as somewhat arrogant and self-absorbed and probably would have had a sexual harassment suit in his future. He is of medium height and build with dark, graying hair and brown eyes, and around 40 years old. Bellefleur. Fanart by Polly.
Barnett had been convicted for armed robbery and murder and was serving a combined life sentence of 340 years. He had killed at least seven people on his crime spree. In 1989 he seemingly died on the operating table at the Tashmoo Federal Correctional Facility in Pennsylvania, the result of a crazed medical experiment involving the reversing of the rapid ageing disease, progeria. Except Barnett wasn't dead, and four years later embarks on a new crime spree, now a younger man. As he was part of some suspect medical research, Barnett had his right hand amputated, only to have it grown back using the genetic material from a salamander. Before his incarceration, Barnett was able to stay comfortably ahead of the FBI, and the rookie Agent Mulder on his tail, so much so that he would leave taunting messages for Mulder at the scene of every crime. He repeats this gameplaying when he resumes his psychotic activities four years after his apparent death. This escalates considerably when Barnett starts to target the people close to Mulder. He kills his former partner, Agent Purdue, and was planning to kill Scully at her friend's cello recital when Mulder gunned him down. Robin J. England. Fanart by Polly.

The head of NASA's Space Shuttle Program, run out of Houston, Colonel Belt is a former astronaut who enjoyed his moment of fame on the Gemini Mission several years before. Unfortunately, and unbeknownst to everyone, whilst performing a space walk on that mission, Belt encountered some kind of astral entity that entered his body, possessing him. Once back on earth, this entity would make Belt cause deliberate damage to subsequent space programs, thereby preventing a lot of them from making it up to space. Constantly troubled by his possessor, Belt was however able, in his moments of lucidity, to alert the suspicions of his co-worker Michelle Generoo, who then embroiled Mulder and Scully in an investigation into the acts of sabotage that have been bedeviling the space program. Belt finally broke down during a shuttle mission that was beset with problems and was admitted to hospital. There, in a final attempt to rid himself of this entity, he threw himself out of a window, plunging to his death (and presumably the entity's too). Robin J. England. Fanart by Polly.

At eight years old (in 1994), she seems to be harboring the reincarnated spirit of Charlie Morris, a cop who was murdered nine years previous. She is present at the deaths of Rudy Barbala and Leon Felder, apparently using telekinesis to effect their deaths. She also uses telekinesis to terrorize Morris' former partner, Tony Fiore, and force a confession about his role in Morris' death. Her phobia of water and tendency to lock up nannies and wander into the city by herself are related to her memories of Morris' past life and appear to dissipate after his revenge is complete. She receives Thorazine under the treatment of Dr. Sheila Braun at the Brylin Psychiatric Hospital in Buffalo, NY. Her parents are recently divorced. An orderly who works at the Excelsis Dei convalescent home during the Worcester, Massachusetts incidents of 1994. An Asian immigrant from Malaysia, Gung is giving the resident patients in the home herbal pills made of a mushroom that acts as a hallucinogen, and was used to speak to the spirits of his ancestors from his country. He insists they were given for medicinal purposes to make the patient feel better, but something had gone wrong and it awakened the angry spirits of the home, triggering the attacks. He felt that the patients were being mistreated, forgotten by their families, and disrespected. Agent Scully argues that the mushrooms are a poison to the system, and that the pills explain the acid compound found in Hal Arden's blood. When it is discovered that the pills have gone missing, a series of events trigger Gung to assist Scully in trying to shut off a water main. Gung is reprimanded by the federal government and deported back to Malaysia. He appears to be in his late 40s. Black hair, average height and weight. Fanart by Polly.

A convicted serial killer, Luther Lee Boggs committed his first crime at the age of 6 when he poisoned all the pets living in his housing project. At the age of 30 he murdered an entire family as they were preparing to sit down for their Thanksgiving Dinner. Boggs ate the dinner alongside his dead victims, whilst watching a football game on TV. A resident on Death Row in North Carolina's Central prison, Boggs previously had a date with the gas chamber when he received a stay of execution at the very last minute. So traumatic was this experience that it opened him up to psychic ability, a gift which he uses to help the FBI search for an abducted teenage couple who have been taken by fellow serial killer and Boggs' former accomplice, Lucas Henry during the incident in 1993. Boggs' psychic information is unreliable if largely accurate and is instrumental in saving the young couple. He chooses to deal with Mulder, feeling that the FBI agent has a unique understanding of him (Mulder's profile of Boggs was crucial in putting him away). He wants Mulder to ensure that his co-operation will spare him from being gassed, but his information is suspect and leads to Mulder being badly wounded. An emotionally fragile Scully (Boggs has been playing on her delicate state as he knows that she had just lost her father) then tricks him into revealing the whereabouts of the serial killer, without giving him his stay of execution. Boggs meets his date with the gas chamber, whilst being tormented by the ghosts of his past victims. A wiry, intense-looking man with long brown hair, estimated age in his mid thirties, average height and weight, Boggs has "Kiss" tattooed on the knuckles of one hand, and "Kill" tattooed on the other.
