Sally Kendrick goes under the alias of Eve 7, she was one of many, a byproduct of the Litchfield Experiments started in the early 50s. She's described as in her early 40s, five foot, nine inches, brown hair and brown eyes. Upon the US Government getting word of the Russians experimenting with Eugenics, cross breeding scientists with athletes to create a superior solider, they established the program. Taking a group of children, calling the males 'Adam' and the females 'Eve', they managed to produce children with IQ's up to 265. Yet the cloned children were prone to violence, suicide by the time they were 16 to 20. The Litchfield clones have 56 chromosomes (10 more than normal for a human), enhancing strength, intelligence and psychosis.
The project was abandoned, deemed a failure. One of the Litchfield scientists raised Sally Kendrick to become a reasonable stable person. There's evidence that Sally Kendrick continued the experiments using her own DNA. Kendrick graduated first in her class at Yale with a doctorate in biogenetics. In 1985 she joined the staff at Luther Stapes Center for Reproductive Medicine in San Francisco, California. During this period Kendrick inseminated Ms. Simmons and Ms. Reardon. The activity of Tenna and Cindy's murders of their adoptive fathers compells Dr. Kendrick to act and kidnap the girls. Tenna and Cindy murdered Dr. Kendrick by using Foxglove, a Digitalis poison to immobilize Kendrick before using a knife, then making it appear that an outsider did the murder. There were two other known clones of Dr. Kendrick, 'Eve6', who's in an asylum and 'Eve 9' whose whereabouts are unknown. 'Eve 9' is responsible for releasing 'Eve6, Eve9,' and 'Eve10'.
An alleged Amish community that lives in Steveston, Massachusetts since the 1930s, in reality the members are entities of extra-terrestrial origin. These religious isolationists are known for making pottery with white clay from the hills nearby. There appears to be no children and they may have not aged for sixty years, although Agent Scully surmises that they might be been intermarrying for years to explain their ageless physical similarities. There's possible, speculative evidence the clay has regenerative properties that affect these entities differently than humans. The membership of the Kindred disappeared in 1994 after Agents Mulder and Scully investigated deaths caused by one of their own. It's highly probable that the Kindred brotherhood used Agents Mulder and Scully to find the entity known as Brother Martin.
Aaron: A member of the community who appears to choke to death during a dinner when Agents Mulder and Scully question Kindred members about the death of five victims over a period of six months. Hours later, Agent Mulder witnesses the burial, and resurrection of brother Arron through an apparent regenerative process. Brother Arron appears to be in his sixties to seventies, heavy build with thinning brown hair with traces of grey and blue eyes.
Abigail: The second leader of the religious isolationist sect known as the Kindred, she's involved in hiding the Kindred's knowledge of Brother Martin's lethal activities in 1994. Abigail seems to support Brother Oakley's attempt to use the agents to gather information on their wandering kindred, Brother Martin. She is of average height, fair complexion and brown hair and blue eyes.
Andrew: A member of the Kindred who is a friend of fellow Kindred member Martin who's responsible for multiple deaths in 1994. Andrew gains personal trust in Agent Scully and eventually offers to assist her investigation, in spite of fear of recrimination from his fellow members. Through touch, he seems to have control over the agent as well as a sexual attraction. Through these means, he is able to find out what he needs to know. He initially attempts to seduce Scully, either by impulse or intentionally, before he is stopped by Agent Mulder. Brother Andrew has fair brown hair, blue eyes and appears to have a frail build with above average height.
Martin: The primary suspect concerning a number of deaths scattered from Steveston, Massachusetts to Germanton, Maryland over a six month period in 1994. Brother Martin is a member of a religious isolationists sect known as the Kindred. Martin is an extra-terrestrial entity who can shape shift into different genders. His motive seems to be driven by a fascination with humans and a strong euphoria resulting in contact with them. He was initially drawn to the outside world, as claimed by Brother Andrew, through discarded fashion magazines found on the outskirts of their forest community. The only problem is that physical contact with Martin produces pheromones during intimacy that humans cannot handle, resulting in anaphylactic shock. Due to the investigation of Agents Mulder and Scully, he is tracked down and is about to be arrested when Kindred members reach him first, subdue him and leave, vanishing from the face of the earth. The case is remained unresolved since no arrest can be made. Martin in his male form seems well built, with light brown hair. During the entities female incarnation, she seems to have long light brown hair.
Oakley: Primary leader of the religious isolationist sect known as the Kindred, he's involved in hiding the members knowledge of Brother Martin's lethal activities in 1994. During agent Mulder and Scully questions concerning the whereabouts of the entity known as Martin, Mulder comes to suspect that Oakley and Sister Abigail stage an Amish dinner and prayer to draw out information from the agents. His motives seem elusive as Oakley appears to placate the agents, while trying to chase them away. Brother Oakley is of average height with dark brown hair and blue eyes.
Wilton: Another member of the Kindred who appears to assist Brother Oakley and Sister Abigail during agents Mulder and Scully's questioning of the deaths in 1994, by staging an outburst of outrage at the suggestion that a member of this religious sect could be responsible. After stating that the agents' secular world does not interest the group, he is dressed down by his Kindred elders. Wilton is of average height, light brown hair and dark blue eyes.
The real Cecil Lively died in a London tenement fire in 1971. Another Cecil L'ively (this time with an apostrophe) was a child victim of sacrifice in Bath, England, in 1963. The man who has raided these death certificates and assumed their identity and name is a social misfit with two unique abilities. One is the fact that he can generate and control fire (he can light a cigarette simply by placing it in his mouth). The other is his ability to ingratiate his way into the households of British aristocracy. This is usually with a view to killing off the father of the household, as L'ively invariably suffers from an unrequited desire for his victim's (usually) younger wife. He has worked as gardener for several of the victims, which accounts for his unprecedented level of access to them.
After a string of such related murders in Britain, L'ively travels to the US, planning to work his way into Lord Marsden's family. L'ively has already sent a love letter to Lady Marsden, which given the number of murders in their circle was enough to make the Marsdens decamp to the States out of fear for their safety. To prepare for the family's arrival, L'ively kills the handyman Bob at the estate the Marsdens are renting, and assumes his identity. This gives him full access to the house, and, under the guise of doing some decorating, he is able to coat the entire house with argotypoline, a type of rocket fuel, so that the entire place is essentially flammable. (The real Bob has been buried on the estate grounds.) His access also gives him the chance to spy on Lady Marsden at any opportunity.
L'ively also likes to show off his unique abilities with fire. L'ively gets another chance to show off his skills when he deliberately sets off a fire on the 14th floor of the Venable Plaza Hotel in Boston, the very floor where Jimmy and Michael Marsden are staying. By rescuing the boys from the blaze, he is able to ingratiate himself even more into the family's trust. However, as the FBI net starts to close around him, L'ively is forced into ever desperate measures, such as locking the Marsden boys in a bedroom while he sets fire to the rest of the house. He didn't bank on Agent Mulder being able to overcome his fear of fire to save the boys, or indeed Detective Phoebe Green flinging rocket fuel in his face, blinding him, and making him accidentally set fire to himself, burning himself to a crisp.
Admitted to Boston Mercy Hospital with fifth and sixth degree burns all over his body, L'ively is moved to a high security medical facility where his body starts making a spectacularly fast recovery, his skin tissue regenerating at an unprecedented rate. He is contained in a hyperbaric chamber with nothing flammable nearby, pending trial for the murder of Bob, the original Cape Cod caretaker. Robin J. England
