New Project: Ten Thirteen Interviews Database

Hello fans,

Today EatTheCorn.com (http://www.eatthecorn.com) is launching a pet project of mine, one that I hope will be useful for all of you X-Files and 1013 fans out there:
the Ten Thirteen Interviews Database!
http://www.eatthecorn.com/1013.htm

Simply put, the ultimate goal of this site is to archive each and every one of the interviews with Ten Thirteen cast and crew. It launches today with no less than 306 interviews archived! And for this initial batch of material I owe a huge thank you to Libby (http://www.chelonium.plus.com/), who very generously provided nearly all of those.

This project was born out of the will to archive interviews before they are lost with the passage of time (this seems like an obsession with me!), and to provide access to this material to everyone, since sold out magazines or old interviews now offline are today inaccessible to the larger public. Also, this site aims to gather into a single reference site material that is readily available elsewhere but is dispersed across a thousand sites.

There's still a lot to do and this project will remain a work in progress. I have a lot of ground to cover yet to exhaust possible interview sources I can find -- but I also hope it will be a collaborative project for the entire Ten Thirteen fandom.

So drop by, navigate through by date or via the tags, and have a read! The project is open to contributions from anyone, and thanks to the wonders of the internet I hope that all together we can build a definitive archival site for posterity.

Hello Everyone,

While we don't have anything locked down as of yet, we are attempting to secure an interview with director David Nutter about his years of working on the X-Files.

I thought I'd do something a little different, and ask fans if that would like to forward to this site, questions for the Director. I can't make any promises as to what the percentage of questions will be used, but we can promise that all questions will be looked at and considered.

The way it will work is, all questions must be posted on the Lexicon forum in order to be considered. Please also include your name and where you live.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's questions!

How to reach Chris Carter and 1013

On a fairly frequent basis, I will get requests regarding how to reach Chris Carter and 1013. The following is the address that Gabe Rotter has allowed to be released. Of course I do have further, personal business information, but I cannot release it for a wealth of reasons. Chris Carter can be reached at the following:

Chris Carter
c/o Ten Thirteen Productions
PO Box 3210
Santa Monica, Ca 90408

While I am publishing this due to demand, I need to stress the following....Ten Thirteen is still an active business, there's a great many limits with what they can do. For various reasons, many of them probably legal, do not solicit for employment, or pitch story ideas, or forward unsolicited screenplays. Please use consideration, respect, and common sense. I can't make assurances that personal correspondence will be read, as everything is filtered through Chris Carter's staff, yet you never know, Chris and Frank have been known to visit on-line sites. Simply please show the smart consideration that X-philes have demonstrated in the past.
